PRABIR KUMAR DAS
"Building AI-powered medical imaging tools for clinicians — bridging deep learning and healthcare."
Hello, I'm Prabir

I'm a medical imaging enthusiast and aspiring researcher, currently based in Toulouse, France. With a strong academic foundation in Medical Imaging and AI, I’m actively seeking a PhD position focused on advancing medical image analysis and reconstruction using deep learning.

I hold an M.Tech in Medical Imaging and Informatics from IIT Kharagpur and am currently completing a second Master’s in Biomedical Engineering at Centrale Méditerranée, supported by the TIGER Excellence Scholarship.
My current research at the IRIT Lab (Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse) focuses on ultrasound super-resolution using diffusion-based generative models.

My broader vision is to develop AI-powered medical imaging solutions that empower clinicians with more accurate, efficient, and interpretable tools for diagnosis and treatment planning. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, I aim to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world clinical impact.
Let’s build the future of medical imaging—together.
